Help DWS Create A Space For All

Detroit Waldorf School recently launched Harley's Fund: A Space for All to improve accessibility in our educational community. The initial phase of improvements includes accessible playground items and turf, story time and meal seating, automatic water foundations, ramping, and more. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for this first phase and we are currently at $22,000.

We cannot do this important work without you. Please make a donation today to support Harley’s Fund: A Space for All! Your gift will make an immediate and impactful difference.

Meet Harley

Harley's Fund: A Space for All is in honor of Harley Barnes, daughter of Darlisha and Jarrett Barnes and sister to Sky in the current second grade class. Harley has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Type 1 and wants to attend DWS just like her big sister. The Barnes Family hopes that their gift will inspire others to give to ensure that DWS becomes a learning environment that is accessible to people of all abilities.

We are extremely grateful to the Barnes Family for their generosity and vision for Detroit Waldorf School.
