Extended Care

Drop-in (no pre-registration needed) Extended Care for enrolled students is offered after school from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at the following rates:

3:30pm - 4:30pm: $8.00 for the first child, $5.00 for each additional sibling

4:30pm - 5:30pm: $8.00 for the first child, $5.00 for each additional sibling

Snack is served at 4:00pm for all students.

There is a $1 per minute late fee for children picked up after 5:30pm. 

Extended Care fees are billed monthly to the account on file in your FACTS account.

Extended Care FAQs

• What is drop in Extended Care? Do I need to register?

  No, you do not need to register for drop-in Extended Care. If your child is present at 3:30pm when the bell rings, they will be checked into Extended Care and you will be billed accordingly.

• Where does Extended Care take place?
  Early Childhood: Sunflower Outdoor Classroom

  Grades: 1st-3rd Playground

• What happens in inclement weather?
  In the event that weather conditions are too severe for the children to attend Extended Care outdoors, children will remain indoors in classrooms or in community areas such as the library or the Community Room. A sign will be posted near the front entrance to direct parents through the building.

• Where do I pick up my child(ren) from Extended Care? 

  Early Childhood: Sunflower Gate

  Grades: Willow Tree Gate

  Inclement weather: Stated on sign at front entrance

• Where do I pick up my child(ren) in inclement weather?
  In Inclement weather, a sign will be posted near the front entrance stating which group is in which classroom. Staff members are happy to assist you as well, just ask!

• What happens if an After School Program Instructor cancels their class and I am unable to pick up my child before the time I would normally arrive?
  If an After School Program Instructor cancels their class your child may attend Extended Care at the regular rate. For any inquiries regarding refunds or credits for a canceled After School Program, you must correspond with the instructor of the specific program.

• Does Extended Care include a snack?
  Yes! Snack is served at 4:00pm for both Early Childhood and Grades Students. If your child is attending an After School Program that ends after Extended Care Snack takes place, please pack a snack for your child to have during or after their After School Program.
