Faculty: Emily Linstrom
Art Teacher Grades 5-8
Born and raised in the northern suburbs of Metro Detroit, Emily Linstrom holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and has also studied at the University of Arts in Philadelphia and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Before bringing her knowledge, energy and artistic talents to the early childhood, extended care, art, and camp programs at DWS, she held positions as an adjunct professor, museum gallerist / educator / technician / asst. registrar and early childhood teacher. She continues to be active as an artist and loves hearing live music in our city.
