Faculty: Beatrice Voigt

Coordinator of the Educational Support Department

Beatrice Voigt is currently the coordinator of the Educational Support Department.

She has been a member of our school community since1995, as German Teacher, Class Teacher, Speech and Drama instructor and as College Chair. 

In 1985 Beatrice completed her 5 year Speech and Drama training at the School for Creative Speech and Drama at the Goetheanum in Dornach/Switzerland.

She studied The Art of Acting after Michael Chekhov through Sunbridge College in NYC, completed her Waldorf Teacher Training at WISM in Ann Arbor and more recently became certified in Chirophonetics. Before coming to North America, Beatrice held the position of Speech Artist in residence at the Rudolf Steiner Schule Bochum, Germany, where she gave Creative Speech instruction to students and teachers alike. 

In her free time, Beatrice enjoys the outdoors, she loves gardening, she is a performer and an avid Hawaiian dancer, and (above all) she loves to spend time with her partner Brian.
