Walk-A-Thon 2018

Thank you for celebrating our 35th Detroit Waldorf School Walk-A-Thon, honoring one of our Co-Founders, Amelia Wilhelm. Amelia along with her husband Rudolf Wilhelm founded our school in 1966.

The 2018 Walk-A-Thon was held Friday, October 19th at 10AM on Belle Isle. Donations in support of the Walk-A-Thon help to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the expenses of running the school. Our goal is to raise $63,000 that will directly support the exceptional education that Detroit Waldorf School provides for our children.

If you are interested in sponsoring, participating or have questions please reach out to Jineesa Stowell at 313.822.0300 or walkathon@detroitwaldorf.org

Through the efforts of this beloved student-driven annual fundraiser held each year on Detroit's Belle Isle, our community raises vital contributions to our annual operating cost, capital improvements, and the Accessible Tuition Program.
