Staff: Kelly Baldwin-Heid

Originally from Rochester Hills, MI, Kelly has lived in Philadelphia for the past ten years. She took a year out to travel in Europe with her two sons and husband before settling in the West Village in June 2019. Kelly graduated from James Madison Collage at Michigan State University with a double degree in Social Policy and German; she studied for one year at Albert Ludwigs Universitat in Freiburg, Germany, and received her Masters in Art History and Architecture at University College, Dublin in Ireland. Kelly worked as a curator at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for six years before transitioning to development, first at the museum and then at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Kelly raised over $5M to support breast cancer and BRCA-related cancer research and patient care.
Kelly enjoys running and swimming, fashion sewing, gardening, travel, and foraging for flowers and food. Her husband, Markham Heid, is a freelance journalist who has written extensively about kids and tech, and their sons will be in the Bluebird and Sunrise classrooms in the fall.
