A Common Cause
Every Detroit Waldorf School family pledges 30 hours of annual volunteer support. These contributions help us accomplish a great deal more than would otherwise be possible and ensure that our financial resources directly benefit student learning. Volunteering also strengthens the social fabric of our school community, giving families an opportunity to have fun while joining in a common cause.
Parents, grandparents, and caregivers assist with public programs, building and grounds projects, provide administrative support for faculty and staff, and lend their expertise as members of committees and the Board of Trustees. There are many project-based volunteer opportunities to fit a range of interests, talents and availability.
We welcome alumni and members of the community as volunteers!
