Wellness Coordinator: Katherine Feldhouse

Inspired by her family’s love of cooking and gardening, Katherine Feldhouse has been practicing plant-based culinary arts and the study of holistic health and wellness for nearly a decade, during which she has had the pleasure of working with Detroit Food Academy, Relative Wellness, and Fair Food Network. Since joining Detroit Waldorf School’s Early Childhood Center in 2015, Katherine has earned a certificate in Child Cooking and Nutrition from Stanford University and in partnership with Jade Fearn developed the “Wellness at Waldorf” program in the Summer of 2016. With the intention of inspiring families to embark on their own healthful journey, this program serves as a community platform for healthy living habits and provides good food education for all.
